Dokai started off as the collaboration between Ivo van Roij and Feike Postmes with the occasional tutorial by fellow students and friends. Currently, Ivo is the sole producer of Dokai.
The effort to put the experience from working with Houdini into practical tutorials for games and cinematics!
As the original founder, Ivo is passionate about using Houdini to create procedural content for cinematics and videogames, and is currently working as a fulltime Technical Artist on the new Gran Turismo for Polyphony Digital at SONY Interactive Entertainment with the focus on Environmental design. He graduated from Breda University – IGAD (International Games Architecture & Design) in 2019, and loves environmental design. He also interned at SideFX Software‘s game dev team in 2018/2019.
He grew up in Tilburg, The Netherlands, is an avid martial artist, and wants to help you with his knowledge and share his experience from the industry through tutorials and seminars!

Feike is always eager to help, but likes to get a good idea of the different solutions first. Like Ivo, he graduated from IGAD (International Games Architecture & Design) in 2019, and currently has almost half a decade of experience with Houdini. He worked as an intern on asset placement and world building generation, using procedural design for Square Enix‘s game development department ATD and went on to work for Applied, but is currently working fulltime at DodoDevs.
Originally from Amersfoort, The Netherlands, he moved to Breda to study at Breda Univeristy – IGAD. Teaming up with Ivo he co-founded Dokai. Feike loves sharing environmental design for games, up to using new technology for improving AI in a procedural way.
Feike is no longer available for contact through Dokai.
