Who are we?

Dokai

Dokai is the collaboration between Ivo van Roij and Feike Postmes. The effort to put the experience from working with Houdini into practical tutorials for games and cinematics! 

Feike Postmes

About Feike

Feike is the problem solving brain behind Dokai. Always eager to help, but getting a good idea of the different solutions first. As a senior student at IGAD (International Games Architecture & Design) in Breda with almost 4 years experience with Houdini, his main goal has been to get a better understanding of proceduralism. He loves teaching and loves to explore problems from both the artistic as the math-driven side of things to get to the desired results!

Growing up in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, he moved to Breda and is currently a 4th-year-student. Here he is helping out 1st to 4th year students to understand Houdini and Unreal and gives lectures on a regular basis.

Ivo van Roij

About Ivo

As the original founder, Ivo is passionate about using Houdini to create procedural content for cinematics and games, and is currently working on Gran Turismo 7 for Polyphony Digital. He interned at SideFX Software co. in 2018/2019, he is a senior student at IGAD (International Games Architecture & Design) in Breda with 2 years of experience with Houdini, and loves learning new stuff about proceduralism.

He grew up in Tilburg, The Netherlands, is an avid martial artist, and wants to help you with his knowledge and share his experience from the industry through tutorials and seminars!
